I would like to make all parents aware that from 1st July 2018, a new European Union "Regulation on Mercury" is taking effect.
UK dentists will, in most circumstances, be prohibited from placing "silver fillings" containing mercury into (i) children's milk teeth; (ii) children under the age of 15 ; (iii) a lady who is pregnant and (iv) a lady who is breast feeding.
Please make sure that your dentist knows if you or your child fit into one of the above categories.
