How do you tell what sort of vomtng it is

So, ds2 wakes up puking this morning. He has a drink and pukes again and is beginning to look pasty, floppy and generally ill.

Managed to get ds1 and dd to school for 5 past 9 after mammoth clean of sofa.

Just wondering if/how you can tell if this is viral vom-ing or 'I didn't wash my hands before tea' vomiting?

Main reason for wishing to know is that ds1 is supposed to be having a friend over after school and dont want to pass on the lergy.

Hi, it's most likely to be viral, there's loads of bugs doing the rounds at the mo. Good plan from the bun to check w friend's mum.

I told school to tell the mum we'd re-arrange. However, just found out that school cannot reach mum yet and I'm collecting so may have to just get on with it.

I seem to remember that when I was little I ate a mini milk off the floor and was vvvv. sick once that night and then fine again, just a bit of a wibbly tummy.

I'll see how he goes and wrap him in protective gear if the friend ends up coming.
