My dad has copd and had become unwell at christmas with chest problems. He has also, it turn out, been peeing blood for a long while. He has been to docs. Yesterday chest ct scan as xray showed shadow and today campera into bladder. I guess we await the consultants verdict. The thing is he has become quite not himself in about 2 weeks. No apetite, lost weight, dithery and forgetful, not walking well, he is also quite slurry in speach. Wr thought antibiotics or steriods may have caused this but not sure now. He lives alone. Should we (daughters) be getting him to see doctor quickly or awaiting consultant do you think? We are both and hour and half drive away so popping in every day is tricky?
