Had a few mouth ulcers so decided to buy some Oraldene mouth wash. I have now got oral thrush according to the doctor, the mouth wash has changed the bacteria associated with ulcers and spread it around my mouth. Now in absolute agony as mouth is full of tiny little white spots which hurt like ulcers. Doc prescribed Daktarin gel, but everytime I put it on my mouth burns and I think its making it worse. I would love any suggestions as to how to get rid of it???

My eldest had oral thrush as a baby and my nan a mother of 14 told me to get the edge of his wet nappy and gently rub,and hey presto it worked and never came back, the health visitor wasnt impressed said his urine was full of germs, but as my nan said back in her days it what they did,no harm came to them and after 14 children id take note of my nan before a childless health visitor..seems as you dont wear a nappy .maybe you could wee on a tissue and give it a go,you never know the ond methods are sometimes the best good luck..
