15, but some of the answers were yes because of my depression, rather than stress.

Petall · 11/08/2004 20:39

Tinker · 11/08/2004 20:44

Obviously I've already forgotten about the brat that wrote on wall

sis · 11/08/2004 22:24

0? bloody hell, that is impressive - I manages 11 - it would have been a lot less a week ago but never zero!

Zelda · 11/08/2004 22:42

Um 17... and just when I was beginning to wonder about PND! Does anyone know whether there's a link between stopping breastfeeding - therefore presumably a reduction in the levels of Oxytocin (the Lurrve hormone)- and PND?? I ask because I stopped 6 weeks ago and have felt on an emotional roller coaster ever since which is unusual for me.

lou33 · 11/08/2004 22:47

I don't know Zelda, Mears would be a good one to answer that.

Zelda · 11/08/2004 22:50

Mears?

Zelda · 11/08/2004 22:52

How r you doing Lou33 (as a fellow 17 point scorer)

lou33 · 11/08/2004 22:55

Stressed

Mears is a midwife and font of all knowledge in that sort of thing it seems.

rosies · 14/08/2004 10:28

zelda,

it sounds like your hormones are giving you an up and downer... and not surprisingly after having a baby and then breastfeeding and now not + all the other stuff to contend with looking after a little one.

perhaps before considering the meds route you could try something like reflexology that is excellent for balancing the body's systems and boosting the immune system. whilst being great for stress and helping relaxation it is also very energising.

Some more info here

just an idea.

regards

rosie
