Blood comes and goes in poop - anyone else had this?

I posted the other day that i had blood in my poop, it was bright red and mainly on the bowl. I was straining a lot too!

However I went to the toilet yesterday and it looked like more bright red blood mixed in my poop.

The dr checked my back passage and found a couple of small haemorrhoids (no tear) but also referred me to get a camera up my bum as this has been a problem on and off for years. I was given rocket type things to put in my bum which i have done today and yesterday!

And today when i went to the toilet there was no blood at all!!

Has anyone else had this? Is it likely to be piles maybe further up? Im getting myself in such a state here!!!

Hi again, one more question! I went again this morning twice with no blood and no staining!

Having watched what im eating and using these rocket type medicines in my bum at night is it okay to assume this is probably piles ?

Yes it's probably the piles. They don't necessarily bleed every time you go to the loo.

You've been referred, presumably for a sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy, so you will get a diagnosis then. Nobody on the internet can tell you for certain. Good luck

I assume by "rocket" medications you mean suppositories.

Yes thats the ones haha ! Very uncomfortable but seem to be working!

I pressume if it was something more sinister id be bleeding all the time! Im such a panicker haha thanks for your reply xx
