Does this sound like eczema?

Ds (9 months) has three smallish patches of pimply, dry skin high up on his tummy. There was only one patch a week ago so it's spread. It doesn't seem itchy or to bother him at all. Would this be eczema? How should I treat it? Some kind of cream?

It could be eczema but eczema's usually itchy. It could be something else so if I were you I'd take him to the docs.

DS has eczema that looks a bit like you describe - I'm sure it's itchy as he scratches the stuff on his face a lot but he can't get to his tummy. If it is eczema and doesn't clear up you can get some creams from the doctore nad bath emollient. We have cetraben cram and bath oil - when the eczema is bad they need cream at least 3 times daily and a bath daily too. Until you know I'd also stop using shampoos/bubbles etc.

Go and see your doctor or HV though as there are other things such as ringworm that can be confused with eczema. TBH I hope it's not eczema for you, it's a real pain!

I will take him to a doc, thank you.
