I have gallstones and I am uncomfortable

I have lost my appetite a bit but I've never lost so much so quickly

It's a good amount to lose if you ARE dieting! I'd be surprised to lose that much otherwise.

Unexplained weight loss is something that is probably worth checking with your GP.

Is that a big enough loss or should I wait to see if it continues over the next fortnight before I see the gp?

My stepdad had gallstones and lost a lot of weight in a fortnight too. He was in a lot of pain and just couldn’t eat. I think it was 2 stone over about 4 weeks - his clothes were visibly hanging off him. What does your doctor say about the severity of the gallstones? (Stepdad had it very badly, had laser treatment to break up the stones, and when he had the gallbladder out a couple of months later it had all fused to bits of his intestines and he wound up with a 6 hr op and a massive scar).

Too many to count, the biggest was 3mm the rest lie sand

I dunno I have another 8 weeks to go until my consultant appt & 7lbs doesn't seem so bad compared to you dad (poor man - hope he's OK now)
