I was told on the phone this morning it would be 17 weeks from diagnosis until hospital appt (GP suggested 8 weeks)

So now I'm going to be seen in mid July

Is this a quick - book you in next week appt or will I join another waiting list for surgery (I've been told surgery is my only option)

Feeling a bit miserable tbh and in quite a lot of pain

Speak to your GP & ask for a choose & book referral to a private hospital on the NHS, I had knew I had gall stones due to having an ultrasound for gynae problems but wasn't having any problems, about a month after having a hysterectomy I started one night with the pain & vomiting, I spent a night in A & E & was sent home, my GP sent of a referral the day after & I saw a consultant the week after, I waited a couple of weeks for an MRI & saw the consultant again a week after for my results, he booked me in for my op a couple of weeks later, during this time I was having attacks every 2-3 days, my GP gave me painkillers & anti sickness tablets. I had my op done keyhole, I went in at lunchtime, had my op early afternoon & was sat at home watching soaps by 7.00, I was bruised & sore but compared to the pain I'd been in it was nothing. From my first pain to the op took about 6 weeks.

Well I'm certainly speaking to him - I just had a horrific attack
