dd3 isnt using her right eye at all. so we have to start patching. she has choosen an elmo soft patch.

but really, how much stress is this going to be? she is two years old and has a review in 2months time. very strong perscription for her glasses. was told this may happen, and noticed her eye turning in two-three months ago. she closes her right eye when glasses are off, and says it hurts.

My friend's DD (4) had an eye patch for six months. Friend was worried about her dd being laughed at etc but it never seemed to be a problem at nursery and in fact her dd wore it quite proudly, along with her new glasses. The good news is the problem has righted itself in 6 months and she no longer needs it.

Might be harder for you to get a two year old to wear it though!
