My daughter is 18 months, I bf for 8 months and started getting periods again about 6 months ago.
In the last 2 weeks I've been for two smear tests, both times the nurse had to abandon because of spotting. Today I didn't even know I had any spotting until she said she couldn't see my cervix. I'm currently mid cycle. Nurse said prob down to hormones.
Has anyone else had this? She said that as previous smears have been fine I shouldn't worry too much and suggested going back on the pill (I was intending to anyway) to try and regulate periods.
Anyone else anything similar?
