.. has anyone had a procedure to deal with silent reflux? I have had this for years and on daily tablets, but its getting worse and GP is talking about referral to consultant for procedures.

Anyone had this and had surgery - did it help?

I didn't know there were procedures that could be done.
I suffer terribly. I've come off Omeprazole at my request(after 5 years) due to the horror stories of dementia links etc. They have replaced it with Ranitidine? Which if I don't take on an absolute empty tummy makes me nauseaus.
I also glug Gaviscon Advance like no tomorrow.
Did your GP mention what interventions may be possible because I'm desperate to know.
