Abdiminal Ultrasound today

I have an abdo ultrasound today to "rule out ovarian & abdominal pathology" - I know this means that my GP is concerned that ovarian, GI or other cancers may be present.
My question is - how much information can I expect from the doctor who is carrying it out? I obviously want to know what is going on.
(Not sure if it's relevant but it's a private scan.)

Well it took a long time to get here but I've finally had the endoscopy & colonoscopy. (Other health conditions made for some tricky pre-oscopy complexities, necessitating overnight admission.)

Tbh the bowel prep wasn't too bad, it just entailed drinking 2l of awfully salty orange squash & pooping endlessly until 2am!

To cut a long story short:

1. It was fascinating!
2. The meds were amazingly effective.
3. There are some concerning patches in my upper GI that need further work & possible removal.

(Yes I am scared.)

Unfortunately no symptom relief yet, I still feel nauseous & am losing weight - the only bright spot in the gloom that is my health!
