My DD has been off school for almost 3 weeks now. She has aches/pains in arms/legs, headache, feels hot/cold, sore throat, tummy ache ..all these vary in intensity and at times are very bad .. she is totally lethargic, hardly eating and losing a lot of weight. Took her to GP Friday who ordered blood/urine tests which have all come back OK. I am intending to take her to GP again - any ideas on what I should be asking, can viruses last this long, are there other tests I should be asking for? I would really appreciate some help here ..I know that viruses cannot be treated with antibiotics but I thought most went within a week or so.

3 weeks is def long time. When you go to docs tell him that you want every test they can think of if still no other answer from him.
If it continues and she is not getting better and doc won't/can't help then take her to A&E.This is sometimes the only way to get an answer

Sounds like Glandular Fever. When ds1 had GF it didn't show up until a third blood test so ask if that can be repeated.

Some viruses can last this long.
