HER2 Breast cancer in Scotland - drug availability

In England and Wales ladies who have secondary HER2 positive breast cancer have access on the NHS to a drug called Perjeta. This has been approved by NICE.
Unfortunately this drug has been turned down 3 times in Scotland by the Scottish Medical Consortium (the equivalent of NICE).

'Breast Cancer Now Scotland' (on their facebook page) has been asking for anyone who can tell a story of how Perjeta has been a positive thing for them to contact them and have also started a petition, which is also accessible via their facebook page.
Hopefully the actions by this charity will get this drug made available in Scotland.

I am not connected to the charity but I wanted to highlight their campaign as the subject has had an impact on my family. Thanks
