The Dr said it was gastro-enteritus & that she would take a while to get better

Do I take her back to the GP?

Do I let her go to school (she wants to go)?

Do I keep her off (day 5 off school)?

Do I shove her head down the loo for lying to me (not saying she had been sick at 11am this am so I let her eat lunch)?

I would keep her off, you can't send her if she's sick can you, what if she's sick at school?

I would take her back to the docs.

PeachesMcLean · 15/05/2007 21:55

Katymac, you're not a crap mother. Your DD has been sick for 7 days. You're harrassed and loving and tired. God, I'd be going up the wall...

Poor you and poor her.

Katymac · 15/05/2007 21:57

The hardest thing is keeping her away from the other children

The Dr has said it isn't catching - it is apparently a virus (so is a cold & you can catch that)

She is only allowed upstairs and in the lounge

Kitchen/playroom are out of bounds

Bloody minding

I was thinking today the only reason i wont carry on minding for a very very long time is the impact it has on my homelife, it has many benefits but sometimes it feels the downsides outweigh the good sides.
