Dentist advice please - root canal for crown in early pg

Just had a positive pg test (this is another issue for another time), two weeks after conception. X-ray already around conception but what’s done is done, and it’s a small risk as I understand it.

Due to have root canal and begin prep for crown tomorrow afternoon. No infection in tooth.

Should I be cancelling the appointment?

Very grateful for any advice.

Call and speak to the practice as they may have their own policy, however in the practice I work we would delay treatment until after the first three months unless unavoidable.

Thanks for replying, this is all a bit unexpected.

Will they be annoyed at the short notice? Feel bad for inconveniencing the dentist, who is lovely Sad
