Is 9 months long enough to get back to "normal"?

I don't mean weight wise. (still a wee way to go yet!) But DS is now 9 months old, only really BFs twice a day and sleeps 7-7. He's an absolute diamond, so why am I so knackered?!!

I was recently put on iron tablets due to low ferritin levels in my blood but if anything I've been more tired since taking them! My mum says birth messes you up and it's no wonder I'm still shattered but I kind of expected to be back to normal by now, not passing out at 8.30pm on a Friday night.

Any thoughts? How long did it take you to feel "normal" again?

Hmmm started to feel almost human again when DS reached about 15mths.....and then promptly found myself pregnant again

Dd was 10 months old when I started to feel like my old self again although I'd had PND which didn't help. Might be worth getting your thyroid checked if you haven't already.

Hmmm....had thyroid checked but it came back clear. Just slightly anaemic but the last week especially I've been knackered! It's like the early days of pregnancy all over again...but I'm fairly sure I'm not....I hope...

hahaaa...tell you what it'd be the immaculate conception cos I'm too tired to be arsed with all that sex nonsense!

Ooooh you have to be careful - DH often teases me about having sex with me whilst I'm asleep....sometimes I am so knackered I honestly wouldn't have known if he had
