For several months now i’ve bled several times after intercourse. For a few months I put it down to where I was in my cycle but recently the penny’s dropped that it’s nothing to do with that. For a few weeks sex has been mildly uncomfortable too (which it’s never been before). My last smear was only last August & results were all clear but GP has booked me in for a scan, which will be on a Friday. I’m having a pelvis ultrasound and am slightly confused. I thought my GP said that I should have someone with me as they’d know then and there if there was anything to worry about but there’s no mention of this in the letter from the hospital. Anyone had this scan and can give me an idea of what to expect please? I think i’ll Be less anxious if I know more
