Pain in leg and dizziness...not DVT

I saw the GP this week as have been feeling really dizzy, like I'm moving when I'm not or as thoguh the room is about to spin and have also had this intense on and off ache in my right leg, in the thigh and calf and buttock. It's been going on for 5 days and if anything is getting worse.
It started after a few days spent on a canal boat, so wonder if it could be motion related. However it was very calm and we moved very slowly and I felt fine on the boat.
The GP tested for different ear infections and all clear, she also did a blood test for DVT and that was all clear too. She just said to come back next week if its still going on.
Does anyone have any ideas? It's better first thing but seems to get worse when I am sitting at my desk or at a screen or am under the horrible offcie lights at work. The leg pain is worse when I am still. It's not super painful, more a dull ache or cramp but it's starting to get to me and I found it really hard to focus at work.
I am 39, resonably fit and healthy, I drink lots of water, eat well etc.

It could be two different things? Dizziness sounds like vertigo-google BPPV and see if symptoms fit. Leg pain could be from the low back-sleeping in a different bed, moving in small space etc? Try some gentle stretching and see if that improves it.

Thanks moreis, I hadn't thought of them as seperate as they both occured at the same time, but that probably makes sense. It's just such an odd feeling. I will return to the Dr if I'm not imporved in a week or so.
