Would you get this foot looked at?

Background. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. But once I get moving it’s fine so I’ve been walking and exercising as normal.

Friday I took myself off for a walk and about halfway round I noticed pain across the top of my foot. By the time I got home it was very painful. Rested for half an hour and when I got up to walk omg the pain! It was swollen too.

It’s now been almost a week and it’s still swollen and sore. The pain is across the bottom of my little toe and the next one along. I can move my toes but it’s just getting no better. Should I get it checked out or is it just a matter of giving it time?

Do you massage your If not I suggest you do. Also use your toes to pick up. And drop a cloth. Roll got on a lacrosse ball or golf ball. It I’ll hurt but it’ll release it over time.

Thanks. I have been mobilising my toes as much as possible. I can move them fine, even go on tiptoes, but it’s still swollen and painful to walk.

I’ve got an appointment with my surgery’s nurse practitioner tomorrow so if they think it’s necessary they can refer me for an X-ray or give me further help to support it.

I’m just massively frustrated, I’m usually very active, enjoy walking and dancing and it’s so annoying not to be able to do that. Walked my youngest to the park after school, only a couple of hundred yards but it’s just so sore.
