Hi, my baby has had a really red rashy patch under his chin and in the creases of his ankles and elbows. We've tried numerous lotions and creams, one doctor diagnosed it as exezma and gave us hydrocortison cream which cleared it up for a few days but has since reappeared. Second visit to a different doctor said it was dermatitis. Keep him as dry as possible but does anyone know if using Vaseline would help at all?

Aren't they really the same thing ? Aveeno works for some but you have to use it for a while to see results. Chin will probably be a dribble rash, Kamillosan helps dd's

Diprobase? I think you'll need a script though, it is similar to aqueous cream.

thanks for that, I thought they were the same thing too. I'll check out those creams youve recomnded, if only there was some magical way of stemming the flow of drool I'd be laughing!
