Does this sound like carpal tunnel syndrome?

A couple of months ago my wrist started hurting when picking things up or twisting it. It's slowly got worse and it's really bad today. It feels like my arm is numb but painful inside my wrist.

I do get pins and needles quite a lot so I thought it could be carpal tunnel syndrome but I've noticed it's started clicking loudly when I twist it Confused Any ideas?

Possibly but also possibly not. It sounds like wear and tear as in arthritis.

CPS is really a RS injury with people who do a lot of work on the pc or writing.

If it is CPS the treatment is rest so now using a pc with a mouse.
It starts in your shoulder and works its way down you arm. I saw a physio about mine and was advised to get a mouse mat and keep off the pc as much as poss.
