Medical stitches coming out. Do I need to go back to hospital?

I had 4 stitches on my hand on Wednesday. I was told I would need to return to get them removed after 10 days but they are already coming loose. They were double knotted but all are unwinding. The wounds look like they are healing well. Will I be ok to put some steristrip?

If the wound is healing and not opening up, you're fine. No need to see the gp.
