What has bitten me? Pics...

Something bit me while I was gardening yesterday. The blood spot came up under the skin straight away. No raised lump at all

Second pic is this morning, a red area has formed around it and it's bastard itchy but still not raised like a normal bite.

Any ideas?

Do you have ticks where you live? My DD had a tick bite and it look so a little like some of the pictures I saw when I googled what to look out for after.

Looks like Blandford fly to me but maybe a bit early in the year.

Mine is really sore and the skin around it has gone weird and dimply.

I knew gardening was a dangerous pastime.

Mine is very similar! It mist be the same bug/ insect/ other thing that got us both. I'm seeing a Dr this week for something else, I might just flash it at them and see what what they think if there's time
