I would suggest asking your GP for a recommendation first, failing that, then get in touch with your local nuffield hospital amd ask for a recommendation. Also, you need to ask what area of haematology they specialise in. Which bit of london are you in?

My GP prefers me to have a name already
I am in SW but prefer London Bridge Hosp or somewhere central rather than somewhere like Parkside

Why not give LB hosp a ring and ask who is based there? Specialists usually run their private practice from one or two private hospitals. If LB is conveniant for you,you could start there.

The haematology team at St Georges Tooting are good, particularly if it is a clotting problem.

Mayday is general haematology - good team though. Look up the names of the consultants, then match them up with the private hospitals.

Many haematologists do not do much private practice.
