Still spotting at 5 months post birth?

DS is 5 months soon.

I still haven't stopped spotting? I spot everyday but occasionally I get a bit of blood too.

No sign of a 'period' yet.

Any ideas? Should I see GP? I think I remember my Midwife saying it takes some women up to a year to stop spotting? Blush

I spotted for about a year after the birth, it was annoying because I always had to go prepared every time I went out the house. The doctors weren’t too concerned about it. It took two years for my period to come back

oliver Thank you for sharing Star

I can't find anything on Google!

There was one woman who said she'd had bleeding at about 16 weeks, and was sent for an ultrasound by her GP. She ended up having a D&C because there was retained placenta

5 months post partum is a very long time. I'd see the GP. Better to check it out.
