can anyone recommend some good vitamins or food to eat to help alleviate this? I've felt incredibly snappy the last couple of days and irritable for petty reasons, usually ending in me picking a row with someone just to vent my feelings of distemper. I don't like feeling like this - it's not good for my interpersonal relationships!!

I usually have a reasonably healthy diet but I know I don't eat enough fruit or veg everyday. I currently take cod liver oil plus a catch-all multi-vitamin. Would oil of evening primrose be any better or B6? Or some more natural remedy?

i have tried loads of stuff as i get bad pmt

i use evening primrose, vitamin B6, and a calcium and magnesium supplement

for years ive only used the evening primorse and B6, then i read an article that suggested Ca and Mg, and this has helped even more

you wont see/feel benefits fpr a month or 2/3 so you have to be patient

Here I go again with the 5HTP. It works a treat and its a natural supplement.

i posted a similar thread in March on this subject and AGNUS CASTUS tincture or tablets where recommeded by a lovely mumsnetter. You can get them easily from Holland and Barratt and can not stress enough they REALLY REALLY DO HELP!
