Pelvic pain and pending ultrasound

Hi all. I think I just need a hand hold.

Relatively young lady with very irregular periods and pelvic pain. I’ve got a few other “symptoms”. Personally, I suspect PCO or an ovarian cyst.

Anyway, I’m awaiting an ultrasound. I don’t know what I’m more anxious about - that they find something or if they don’t.

Not helped by DP who was trying to be supportive and meant “try not to think about it” but really said something along the lines of it all being in my head.

Does anyone have any experience of lots of tests/ pelvic pain. I’m trying to just wait and see what happens with the ultrasound but my mind is wandering to worst case scenarios.

Turns out it’s PCO

I hope you’re doing ok. I hope the diagnosis means you can move forward with the next step of treatment.

I have a pelvic ultrasound and hysteroscopy tomorrow.

Fingers crossed. I’m not sure what it means yet.
Think I’m just relieved that It’s not in my head.
