As long as I can rember I've had this.I wear clogs for 12 hours a day which doesn't help.Once I saw a chiropodist who said this may always be a problem!!
I have a coarse foot pedi thing and moisturise my feet as sometimes they crack and its so painful.
Any advise please.I take codliver oil capsules and a vitamin.

My sister uses that salve designed for cracked nipples when breastfeeding. It seems to work for her.

Scholl heal cream works wonders for me.

I use CCS foot cream as recommended by my podiatrist. It contains urea. Works fantastically well; much better than anything else I've tried.

Dermatonics Once Heel Balm is expensive but is the best thing going. Also you don't need to use much.

It's prescribed for diabetics to soften and protect their feet.

Also, I'd recommend seeing your doctor to check there's not some underlying reason.

Diabetes, Vitamin D deficiency and underactive thyroid can all cause very dry skin.
