Just to let you know some good news following my gloom and doom of a few days ago

Dhs scan results were good. Doctor is very pleased and there is no indication of any further growth of the three tumours.

The first scan showed a fair amount of shrinkage, so the chemo has bought us a good few months!

Good news. which is what I needed today.

No point in removing them Fiofio, because they have already spread away from the primary site.

The first three months shrunk them. The second three have kept them small.

We aree not so silly as to think this is a cure, it isn't. But we are already reaching the six month mark, which was the upper end of the prognosis. So he is doing well.

He has already done better than expected. Long may it last.

And todays chemo hasn't caused him to vomit , as yet, so better than last week.

That's great news. Sounds like you're in a similar situation to us. DH was diagnosed with cancer in February, inoperable and has spread to liver. He's currently on his fourth cycle of chemo and the latest scan shows the tumours are shrinking. Like you, we know it's not a cure but it's buying us more time. If you ever want to talk to someone who knows what you're going through, give me a yell .
