Does this look like Basal cell on my nose?

I have a pink spot that appeared in the last week or two, right in my nose. It hasn’t bled or anything. Anyone know if it looks like skin cancer or just “one of those things”? I’m getting it checked out ASAP but wanted opinions.

I’m not qualified to diagnose (and doubt anyone would from a snapshot). For what it is worth I have had a BCC on my temple and it didn’t develop into a pink spot, or erupt rapidly as you have described. It developed slowly and surreptitiously into a pearly pink hard bump, with tiny blood vessels visible, and had a dimpled depression in the centre. There are of different types and presentations of BCC though.
