how long before child 2 goes down with chicken pox?

dd1 has come out all spotty today, so how long before dd2 gets it?

Maybe years.....

2 weeks ish. or never

ok, was hoping a day or two then its all done and dusted!!

Ds was 2 weeks. He obviously harboured it while dd was covered in the spots.

roughly 2 weeks here too. was stuck in for about a month. was pants sorry, not much hope !!

thanks - we have additional issues with dd2 coming down with it as she has a rare skin condition which might result in complications so just wanted to knwo when we might expect the spots

it was just over 2 weeks for ds to get them after dd (the incubation period is around 10-21 days)

About 2 weeks with my two. ds1 very badly scarred from infected spots so keep a close eye on dd2 and get antibiotics at the first sign of infection.
