Pregnant - past social services and child protection plan

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, this is my first post. And sorry it's so long!! Thanks in advance
I'm 18, married and 14 weeks pregnant. I went for my booking appoint ment and my midwife looked on my medical record and found that I used to be on a child protection plan. This was many years ago between 2010 and 2013. I can't remember exactly why but there are two possibilities as to why I had one - one of which was because of my mother. My midwife called me today and wanted to ask me some more about the child protection plan, she said she would need to perform background checks to ensure the people involved were safe to be around my baby, i told her it involved my mother who I no longer have contact with and who lives abroad (truth). She said that's fine if we are not in contact. I'm just worried about social services getting involved again and bringing stuff up from the past which I don't want to revisit. Can she access the full file and read the note about the plan and social service or does she have to rely on my saying? Advice please sorry I'm worrying myself over nothing.
