HI
My DD (8 months)started feeling unwell yesterday and did the most almighty vomit at around 4pm, she ate a bit of tea and slept OK, no more puking. however since waking she has been in tears and won't let me put her down, on the breast constantly, sweaty (though no or very slight temperature according to the thermometer)
and since this morning she has developed small red pimples, mainly on her shoulders and belly... can't get through to nhs direct, they're too busy, doctors shut etc etc...! I think she's got chickenpox, what do you think?

Ps also very drowsy - has had half an hour nap since she got up at 7 and has just fallen asleep again in dads arms

Sounds suspiciously like CP, but I'd say keep trying NHS Direct, or if you call your surgery do they have an out of hours phone number? Most do.

If unusually drowsy definitely get her seen. Not to panic you, but have you done the glass test on her rash?

Just done glass test - spots fade (phew)NHS direct still busy
