prednisilone corticosteroids.....palpitations

Have been taking course of corticosteroids last nine days. Heart is pounding. Anyone else had them and experienced this?

They do raise your pulse and blood preassure but not usually to that extent.What is the dose?

Eight 5mg tabs each day for ten days

Had them before but didn't feel like this.
Mighty weird, no mention of palpitations on leaflet, finish them tomorrow

Head was buzzing all night
Feel like the bionic woman today

They do give you a rush of energy I have never been on more than 12 mg a day but when I have had big doses I have felt invincible!They raise the sodium levels in your body and can raise blood pressure Can you go to a local chemist and get it checked although it should be back to normal once you stop them

They are like pure adrenaline so it is no surprise you feel hyper
