I know your'e all probably sick of hearing me moan on about my teeth by now! Had 2 wisdom teeth out on Thursday and it's really knocked me for six. I'm wondering whether it's normal to still be in agony with it now? My mouth is really aching
strangely i also feel pretty depressed in myself, had a big cry this afternoon about all sorts of stuff and was generally very emotional.
Can anyone tell me anything?

sorry to hear you'e feeling so low doziduck. Did you have a general for having your teeth out by any chance? I believe minor depression is a known side effect. Cant help on the pain aspect though, sorry.

doziduck, I've had a couple of wisdom teeth out (thankfully on separate occasions). I felt dreadful after the second one for a few days; was put out completely, whereas it was just a local anaesthetic the first time. Have lots of sympathy for you.

I don't think you should still be in agony if you've got the right tablets for pain relief. You may need to go back to the dentist, just to check that an infection hasn't set in, or/and to get stronger painkillers (maybe your GP could prescribe these if you get an emergency appointment tomorrow).

How are you doziduck?

You shouldn't be in a great deal of pain now - certainly some tenderness and soreness where the teeth were removed, and a generalised ache in your jaw from having it yanked about, but not agony.
Ring your dentist!
