Think my 4mth old has hayfever..

is there any point in going to gp or will they tell me there is nothing for her until she is 1?? Her eyes are streaming and gooey, she keeps sneezing and has a snotty nose. IT isnt a cold definetly hayfever as it is worse when out and about.

we were convinced ds had hayfever when he was about 6-7 months. went into boots but they said the only anti histamine he could have was in medised which is a bit of an arse really as we didn't really want a drugged baby all the time.

hairymclary I did think about medised but as you say dont want her wiped out by it. I tend to save that for is they are really ill

still, it might be worth going to the GP just in case. although generally anti histamines are for over ones it might be one of those things that they'll prescribe you if she's really poorly
