Oh bloody hell. Is it just his lip thats swelling ??????

Can you put ice cubes in tea towel and hold it on ??

How old is Ds ???

CP3 · 01/08/2004 17:07

10 months and he has loads of food allergies. Dunno about wasp allergies, what would you do normally with a sting? Feel really useless

Put something cold on top and give him calpol, if it continues swelling ring NHS direct.

According to our first aid book, the advice you've had so far is spot on. But if he is allergic, he may develop the following symptoms: red, blotchy skin, swelling of face and neck, puffiness around eyes, wheezing, difficulty breathing, rapid pulse. Call ambulance if this happens.

Ok cheers everyone, im just gonna put him in a cool bath as hes got in such a state that hes all hot a sweaty so a bath usually soothes him. Panicked a bit then my poor lillte lad being hurt by a big old nasty wasp, it was after his banana

Hope he is o.k now

Hes ok now ta nutcracker. Has a trout pout but apart from that seems happy enough. Ive no Calpol but hes a bit chesty so ive given tixylix instead, at least that will help him sleep.

Oooh glad he's o.k, poor little chap.

Meant to tell you Charlie, when i told Dd2 that supernanny wasn't coming she said "yeah". I asked her why ? Didn't she want her to come ?, and she said
"No, i don't want her to sort me out"
