Runny Green Poo - nice!

Ladies, need some advice.

Dd2 who is only 12 days and bottlefed, had a rather runny green poo earlier today. She hadn't had a poo for 24 hours before then.
Really freaked me out. Don't know if it is a sign of over-feeding, or illness. She doesn't seems unwell tho.

Anyone??

Thank you. x

Hi, Sexon (great name btw).

I believe this is perfectly normal. I've vague recollections of runny green poo (although it's amazing how soon you forget). Keep checking ... well you can hardly avoid it, can you? ... but I'm sure you've no worries. If your dd seems well, then I'm sure it's nothing.

And CONGRATULATIONS!

What formula is she on?

She is on SMA Gold.

Hmm - sorry to say this, but I thought green poo was not good. I think someone said it can be a sign of underfeeding, but not sure. If you don't get a definitive answer from someone who KNOWS as opposed to just thinks, I'd take her to the docs tomorrow or maybe ring your HV. Better safe than sorry...

Oh - and congratulations on your new addition!
