Heart rate going from 57-104 bpm after standing up?

Hi so this has been an issue for me for a few years now. Been to a few doctors but I haven't really gotten any answers as to why it happens. I was recently put on Bisoprolol, a beta blocker, and it's calmed my heart rate down but it still increases the same amount. In the past this has caused me to become very dizzy and nauseous, and even fainting or near fainting. There have been times where I've needed to lie down on the bathroom floor in the middle of taking a shower or to sit on a pavement in the street to be sick. The increase is usually within about 10 minutes but can increase for about half an hour or so.

Has anyone experienced anything like this too? It can be really hard to deal with sometimes. Thank you!

I don’t know much about it, but there’s a condition called POTS (postural tachycardia syndrome) that might fit.

Never heard of it before but OMG this looks so familiar! I'm no doctor but it would explain so much! Thank you for the suggestion :)

Just tested heart rate without taking the Bisoprolol, and it still rises the same. 79-120 bpm in 10 minutes of standing.

Could be POTS :) speak to your GP and say you think it might be and can they refer you to a cardiologist/autonomic clinic for tests
