Hi I'm having fist fulls of hair coming out when I brush, wash, basically do anything with my hair. It is all over the wooden floors in my house and I'm not sure what to do.
I have been diagnosed with Sheehan's or hypo-pituitary which effects my thyroid, LSH, FSH as well as cortisone. I am taking thyroid tabs and I think my levels for thyroid are right but am waiting for my cortisone test to come back.
My endocrinologist doesn't seem overly worried but it is worrying me as I have quite thin long hair and there is so much coming out.
Has anybody got any experience of hair loss that might help me that isn't related to post partum as that had well and truly finished. Thanks in advance.

I lost a lot of hair after ds2 was 6-9months and it has never grown back to it's previous thickness. I was finally diagnosed as being hypothyroid when he was 19 months. Thankfully my hair was really thick to begin with. Have you had a hair analysis to see if you need any vitamins or minerals? Would a visit to a tricologist help? xx
