how long does it take your hormones to get back to normal after removal of mirena coil?

i had mine swapped for a copper one on monday after just over 3 weeks as i was suffering bad side effects.i had some bleeding 2 weeks ago which i assumed was af,but i dont know if you have a 'proper' period with the mirena or just a token one like with the pill?
anyway,i had a little spotting yesterday after having the new coil fitted, but today ive started bleeding again.i dont know if this is my 'real' af,bleeding caused by the new coil,or just my hormones gone nuts as my baby is only 7.5 weeks old

im very confused and wish id just had the normal coil in the first place.

does anybody have experience of having the mirena removed and what happens afterwards?

TIA

my friend conceived two cycles after her mirena was removed, so I presume that in her case her hormones went back to normal pretty quickl.y
