The poor little mite is puking and pooing every hour and can't even keep water down. Dss has gone to the chemist to get dioralyte but I am wondering when do I take her to the docs? She is too ill to take out of the house atm and I am worried she will become badly dehydrated.
Any advice?

I am Irish WT and my mammy told me to boil 7up for her but they only make Sprite over here. She refused the Lucozade.

She is begging for biscuits now and I feel horrible refusing her. I've given her half and that has stayed put so far. I reckon it is now safe for me to go and have a shower and I'll give her another half when I come out. Fingers crossed.

Is it a Kimberley biscuit?

My grandad cured everything with a drop of whiskey.

And did you know 'cured' means the same as 'made worse' or 'sent into mad conniption fit'

better day? did she sleep through last night?

Carmenere · 02/05/2007 22:13

Well dd diddn't stop puking today so I rang the doc who told me to bring her to A&E because she could be dangerously dehydrated(not managing to kep any liquid down at all).

Sooo we queued for hours and the triage nurse told us that they had seen 150 kids with D&V in the past 2 weeks

She gave us some stuff to drip feed dd with a syringe every five minutes which seemed to go down well and she has been fine since. However the doc did say that it is likely to last for another couple of days.

So fingers crossed that we get some sleep and the poor little mite is on the mend.
