I have loads of cherry angioma on my body but have just noticed that one on my thigh has turned black. It is about 2mm in size. Don't want to google too much but wondered if this happened to anyone else. I will of course take to GP but just wanted a bit of weekend reassurance.

I'm no medic so get it checked out. Looks like idts on top of a small broken capillary. Maybe there is a collection of blood behind it making it look darker?

Thanks Catherine. DH said the same thing and thinks it looks like blood. Trying to feel a bit less panicky underneath it.

It looks like a thrombosed cherry angioma- it's harmless- Google it.

I recently went to GP as I was worried about this dark spot as I have had a couple of suspicious moles removed in the past.
After looking at it with a hand held magnifier, can’t remember name of it, thing for looking at moles she said it was a cherry angioma that had bled.
