Senna laxative...how long to get to where it's meant to go!

Took couple of senna laxatives 8pm.
Just been quite sick. Will the laxatives still work or should I take a couple more?

Wasn't sick down to nothing if you know what I mean.

Obv don't want bad, bad cramps.

Why are you taking senna

I find senna take days of taking them to work

Usual reason retired - occasional constipation.

I usually take 2 at night but they don't seem to work till next day, do you think you vomited them up

Well that's my question! 3 hrs between taking them and being sick. I don't know if they would have come back up.

I won't take any more.

I found senna useless , bisacodyl works much better although can course crampy pains .

Next time try microlax, works within 15 minutes although I find after 5 I am ready but try and hold out as long as possible. No bad cramping either.

Posted before I finished. It's a mini enema but does the trick without damage.
