help, dental question

Had 2 wisdom teeth out this morning, waited at the hospital until bleeding stopped and went home. Thing is they started bleeding again and still are. Is this normal? Leaflet just says bite down on some gauze if bleeding, for 15 mins, i have done this loads on and off all day and there is still blood.

You haven't taken aspirin for the pain, have you? (Prob a silly question but thought I'd check.)

I took paracetamol, why?
still bleeding. In my paranoid mind i'm gonna bleed to death....probably

Oh, paracetamol is fine, I was just worried about aspirin as it's used to stop blood clotting!

Are you resting though? The last time I had a tooth out (only a single molar) the leaflet I was given said to rest afterwards, lying down if poss.

If it doesn't stop soon (and you are actually biting for a whole 15 mins) I would ring hosp/dentist/GP for advice. Good luck, hope it stops!
