ARGH.... ulcers

Had all my dental work done on thursday and seem to have had an outbreak of ulcers since, and they are really sore.

Should i get something from my doctor/over the counter at the chemist or can anyone suggest anything else???

doc told me not to use corsodyl cos it can agrivate(SP??) where they have removed my tooth, but i now have 4 big ulcers in my mouth now and they hurt

i tend to get ulcers when i'm run down and i think that mixed with the dental work i've had is making them come out in pairs

Adcortyl in Oralbase - swear by it. Not so much as a pain killer, but it'll gets rid of them quick! Over the counter. I suffer really badly with them, and have tried everything and this is the only thing I buy now.

Adcortyl in Oralbase - totally amazing stuff but really claggy and horrible. If the ulcer's on the inside of my lip it sticks my lip to my tooth / gum and I can't talk! But it don't arf work! I was told not to swill anything when I had my tooth removed, as it can cause the bleeding to start up again, but I guess after so many days this isn't an issue.

Apparently myrrh is fantastic for a herbal remedy. You can get tinctures or mouthwash, I reckon the tincture would be more cost effective as - typical with herbal remedies - it's not all that cheap. I tried it on a strong recommendation but must admit I didn't notice much of a change.

I'm a slave to me 'ormones and get minging ulcers every month!

nah have one on inside of my top lip one on my bottom lip and one in the corner of my mouth, but all on one side and i keep dribbling cos i cant shut that side of my mouth properly
