Had all my dental work done on thursday and seem to have had an outbreak of ulcers since, and they are really sore.

Should i get something from my doctor/over the counter at the chemist or can anyone suggest anything else???

TIA

i tend to get ulcers when i'm run down and i think that mixed with the dental work i've had is making them come out in pairs

Adcortyl in Oralbase - swear by it. Not so much as a pain killer, but it'll gets rid of them quick! Over the counter. I suffer really badly with them, and have tried everything and this is the only thing I buy now.

Adcortyl in Oralbase - totally amazing stuff but really claggy and horrible. If the ulcer's on the inside of my lip it sticks my lip to my tooth / gum and I can't talk! But it don't arf work! I was told not to swill anything when I had my tooth removed, as it can cause the bleeding to start up again, but I guess after so many days this isn't an issue.

Apparently myrrh is fantastic for a herbal remedy. You can get tinctures or mouthwash, I reckon the tincture would be more cost effective as - typical with herbal remedies - it's not all that cheap. I tried it on a strong recommendation but must admit I didn't notice much of a change.

I'm a slave to me 'ormones and get minging ulcers every month!
