Used out of date asthma inhaler

I weened off my inhalers a good year a half a go now, I went to doctors today and she checked my peak flow, it was low so she suggested starting up my inhalers again. I got one out the cupboard tonight used it (brown one) and then after though shit better check the date. It expired April 2017
Will I be okay?
Don't want to sound like a drama queen or ring 111 etc if it's perfectly safe to use one time.

You'll be fine, they lose potency over time but don't become poisonous or anything.
If your peak flow is low you'll need a new prescription to ensure you're getting the dosage you need.
