Chemo tablet form - can you eat before treatment?

My sister will start her chemo tomorrow - it's tablet form which she will have with another tablet think Thalidomide and a steriod injection and she doesnt know whether she can eat beforehand - anyone know?

Hi 123 do you/she know the name of the chemotherapy drug she is having?

If so, the Macmillan website has information about most cancer drugs. Here's the thalidomide page.

If she's having cyclophosphamide then it says that should be taken on an empty stomach.

Otherwise it would probably be best to wait just in case. Ideally they would've made it clear whether she could eat or not, but it would be a pain to have to delay.
